Bethany Dorfe graduated in 2009 from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor’s degree in English. She began volunteering at Hennepin County Family Court Services in 2009 and is still a full-time volunteer. In January 2010, she began volunteering with the Hennepin County Domestic Fatality Review Team. She has extensive experience serving within her church and community in Maple Grove, Minnesota.

Bethany was an intern at the Center from June – December of 2008. She assisted the Center performing development work in 2010. She is currently pursuing her law degree at University of Minnesota School of Law. In September of 2012, Bethany was elected Board Chair for the Center for Homicide Research.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The Center for Homicide Research offers one of the finest internship programs in the United States. Distanced-based electronic internships begin in Fall of 2020. Qualifying students come from undergraduate, graduate and law schools.
